Our schools have replaced our Christian heritage and academic focus with dumbed-down Humanistic philosophies. Parents like us haven't been trained to think entrepreneurially in a system that was designed to create employees so we aren't equipped to train our children to be entrepreneurial. We have to learn it as we go.

My name is Rhea Perry and I wasn't educated to be entrepreneurial either. Yet as I focused on educating the second of my seven children, I discovered an entirely new realm of education that I had no idea even existed.
Nothing seemed to work for my oldest son, Drew. He was easily distracted and he wasn't academic. We seemed to be in survival mode for years as he learned to read, write and do math. Then he spent a month with a mentor when he was 14 that changed the way he thinks. I started applying new ways of thinking to what we were doing for school and the results were remarkable!
He studied animal husbandry, organic gardening, the stock market, and selling stuff on eBay. Then when he was 18, he became a real estate investor. By the time he was 21, he had purchased 24 houses that created enough residual income to bring his dad home from corporate America. He then created a system for selling houses on eBay that he taught to real estate investors all over the Southeast.
When my husband died at the age of 59 in December of 2010 just one day after our 33rd anniversary, I was thankful for the streams of income we had created as a family. When others would have been devastated by being left with four children still at home, we were able to continue on with no interruption.

What I discovered Was an Educational Revelation
And Now For the First Time Ever,
I Want to Share that Concept with the World!
I shared what I was learning with my Yahoo! Group and eventually invited the members to come to my house for a one day workshop. 100 people came from 18 states and four flew. The same thing happened the next year.
The third year, we rented a university and hosted the event again with 220 people from 21 states and Canada. That Yahoo! Group grew into this online community and that conference developed a personality of its own.
Now we encourage parents and teens to develop a mindset for success and learn to use their God-given gifts and abilities to serve God, their family, their country and their families.
After all, God gave us those special abilities for a reason. If you don't use them, you'll lose them. Why spend years stuck in a rut job you don't enjoy when God may have other plans for you that you just haven't gotten to yet? Most of us do it because we have to. But if you want more for your children than that, they will have to develop a different mindset.
The problem is, most people don't know what their gifts are, what they are good at or who they are so they don't know where to start. Our live forums offer help for those who need direction.
No longer are corporate jobs the only high paying jobs in town. Now, with a simple website or blog, you can create enough income to give you and your family (and your extended family and even some of your friends and charities) a very comfortable lifestyle. That's because the Internet brings the world's marketplace to your very fingers in the comfort of your own home.
Those who learn how to use it early, will benefit the most before it changes and matures.

Inside our Community Forum, I am writing a chapter every day or so in a book about what we have done to educate our children to be leaders instead of followers and how that resulted in bringing our dad home.
That area of the forum is called Book Talk. We also discuss other resources there that we and others have found to be valuable in family education.
When I have completed the current book, I'll make that book available for sale and it will no longer be editable in the forum. Then, I'll immediately begin working on the next book.

How to Use the Internet to Change the Direction of Your Life
If you want to ensure that your children accomplish everything they are capable of and are prepared to go out on their own when they leave your home, they need to learn how to think for themselves.
They need basic education that will prepare them to be financially literate. They also need specialized training that will prepare them to do whatever God has called them to do.
Generic education doesn't prepare students to succeed in the real world; it only gives them the basics. They must go on to further education - military, on-the-job training, college, trade school, or apprenticeship - to learn marketable skills. Students who don't go on, often end up in dead-end jobs.
Or young people can learn the skills needed for building a strong home business using the Internet to generate residual income that can be used to bless and provide for many. And you never know when a small business that was started in a spare bedroom or a garage out back turns into an Amazon!

When you are on a journey learning something new just about every day or so, you've got to have someone to tell.
Titus 2:3-5 says, "Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."
I believe gossip is the misuse of a woman's main gift: communication. If a woman can use her speech for encouraging and building instead of tearing down and destroying, that is a good thing. If she can also make money doing it, that is even better.
So we write what we are learning in articles that we post for others to read. In them, we encourage women to build home businesses if they need to supplement the household income and raise children. We also encourage other women to write… (and teach them how to get paid to do it!)
