I am going to host a class in January and February of 2008 and After the class, the writers and editors will have the opportunity to apprentice with me and with some of my Joint Venture partners for a short period. Once the students are trained and have finished their apprenticeship period, they may then apply to work with our service, the Internet Editors. Taking the class doesn’t guarantee you will be accepted to work with our new service, but the skills you will learn will make you more valuable in the online workplace. You can either find others to work for or you can start your own online business. Or you may start working with us. No matter which you choose, you can’t lose. This is a win-win situation. Here’s What We Did with the Internet TranscribersAbout three years ago, Internet marketers were starting to do conference calls like those we do every Tuesday night. They needed to get those calls transcribed and had a hard time finding transcribers who were efficient and reliable. So I learned how to transcribe online and taught my second daughter the skill. It wasn’t for her so I taught a class and trained some moms and teenage girls how to transcribe. I also taught them how to find their own clients, but about half of them came back to me and asked if I would just find work for them. So I sent two emails to a handful of my Internet marketing friends and we started the InternetTranscribers.com. Today, we have transcribed for most of the Internet marketers who are developing marketing tools, software, classes, and conferences. In other words, our clientele is the cream of the Internet crop. We also reorganized the business in January of 2007 so we could proofread every document before we send it back. So not only do our girls give 24-hour turnaround on regular jobs, but we also proofread every document. And we stay pretty busy. A rather successful business has resulted from that class and it is still going strong today, at the end of 2007. Here’s Another Project That Just “Came Along”My mentor Armand Morin has a wonderful coaching program. He decided to send the members a print newsletter. So because I was in the right place at the right time, I got the responsibility. So my team coordinates the monthly production of a print newsletter that is mailed to hundreds of people throughout the world. We do it all virtually. And I need help. So I am going to teach you how we do that. And Here’s “Another” Project In the WorksAnother site we serve helps authors create their books by helping them organize their thoughts, then talking it out on the telephone. The calls are then transcribed, by the InternetTranscribers.com, and turned into chapters. That service is waiting for us to train more editors to finish the process. What You’ll Need to Take the Class
In order to take the class, you’ll need a few things:
High speed Internet access to view the webinars
A computer with Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, or Vista operating system
A phone line separate from Internet access
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
A home office area
Excellent typing skills
Excellent grammar skills
Excellent communication skills
The ability and willingness to listen to all the sessions
A good attitude
If you don’t have Word or Excel and want to take the class, please purchase them before the class begins.
