My wife and I homeschool our two children. When people ask us why we do that, our standard reply is "because we can." I work outside of the home presently as an automotive product development engineer (24 years) and my wife runs our internet retail home business.

I have a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degree, one year of seminary and one year of an MBA which I am presently in the process of completing - entirely on-line.

Right now we are working on a teaching for camp. Our family goes to a home school camp every year (the last week of August). This year I will be teaching a class at the camp on entrepreneurial training (that teaching is still in development).

We enjoy the networking of this web-site - which I would have to say has saved us much time in our business and literally thousands of dollars. We are still in "process" as they say but the education we have gained through this network is solid gold.

I would like to encourage everyone (Phil 4:13 - you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you) to pray and seek wisdom for their families and not just this generation but for the generations to come - and to not just be a hearer of the word but a doer!
